I am thrilled that GOOSE CREEK HOLLER is published and going wide. It was just added to the GOOGLE PLAY list. Readers have been commenting to me, and one of my favorites, from RF, is: "I hate Opal and Dillard so much!" It's always fun when characters you've written stir a response in readers you had hoped for. 

It was a lot of fun adding regional sayings to my Appalachian novel. I had tons of exposure to Southern slang growing up and always wanted to incorporate it in a book. I can still hear my West Virginia cousin saying the word "well," which came out as "wheel," and it was actually "whe-el" in two syllables. So, someday when it's "colder than a well (whe-el) diggers ankles outside" or "hotter 'n blazes," I hope you sit back and enjoy the lives of the town folk in GOOSE CREEK HOLLER.
